Welcome to The Oadby Directory

Those of you who read our magazine will notice that we have made some minor changes to our style for our website - don't worry, it is still the same magazine that you are familiar with. We decided that we wanted to make the website as user-friendly and attractive as possible for our readers and advertisers, to make it easy to find those local services you are looking for, again and again.

A Local Site for Local Businesses

Our site is run by local people for local people - we aren't a large, faceless company with no real regard for Oadby or what Oadby wants.

Advertisers who have taken space within the magazine will be listed in the index and on the listings so that you can find them in exactly the same way as you currently do in the magazine. There will also be separate Feature Pages available for advertisers who have a page of their own to promote their businesses as well as reviews and promotional pages. We hope that this will develop over time in response to what you want from the magazine and website.

There are links to local businesses' websites so that you can visit those businesses that you are interested in. We hope that this will encourage as many businesses as possible to be listed on The Oadby Directory website so that customers can reach them in as many ways as possible.

A Community Resource

And now, the best bit! Most months, we are unable to feature all the community events that we are asked to promote in our magazine due to lack of space on our Community Page. This has proved more popular than we originally estimated and has been the driving force behind the website and the decisions made about its design and function.

To meet what we hope will be a continued demand, we are offering local groups, clubs, societies, schools and charities, as well as individuals, space on our website Community Pages so that Oadby can find out about what is going on in more details and more importantly, in plenty of time. You will also be able to offer items for sale or look for things you want in our Classified Ads Section.
